Unfortunately, due to recent government guidance, we will not be offering any face treatments at this time until we have any further update from the government. We will however be offering body treatments.
We understand that some treatment packages may be nearing their expiry. This would be highly unfair under the circumstances, so we are going to extend the expiry on treatment packages already purchased, along with other treatments bought in advance. This also Includes gift vouchers.
Please be reassured that, we are following all advise by our Healthcare Professional bodies whilst incorporating government guidance and are, as always, taking all the necessary precautions. We are ensuring that cleanliness and sanitation is our top priority here at Visage and have undertaken a professional deep clean of the whole salon and all equipment and products before we reopen, this included everything being steam cleaned as well as disinfected with high grade chemicals.
All of our staff have completed additional training on infection control and are working together to ensure that:
- All equipment and the treatment room is completely sterilised after every client
- All clients have their temperature checked and documented on entering the salon
- Hand Sanitizer is available at our reception and around the salon
- Anti-Bacterial handwash is available in all toilets
- Only a limited amount of people are in the salon at one time - you may be asked to wait outside if you attend your appointment early or there are already the maximum amount of people in the salon
- All clients will need to wear a face mask whilst in the salon, if they do not have one we will supply one at cost (approx. 30p)
- All clients will be asked to sanitise their hands upon entering the salon.
- The whole salon is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected after closing everyday along with throughout the day on areas which are regularly touched, such as door handles, chairs, toilet flushes, taps and card machines
- All staff are taking personal hygiene incredibly seriously and will be wearing full PPE (including face masks, face shields, gloves, gowns and aprons depending on the treatment being performed) at all times, as well as regularly washing and sanitizing their hands. Under no circumstances, would any staff member be at work if they were feeling unwell in any way or displaying any symptoms. All staff will be temperature checked daily upon arrival.
- The salons will be given a professional deep clean on a regular basis
To help us limit the number of people in the salon, we would ask that you attend your appointment alone, apart from in exceptional circumstances and as close to your appointment time as possible. We will also be limiting the number of staff on shift at one time.
We would kindly ask that you reschedule your appointment if you:
- Are feeling unwell or displaying any COVID-19 related symptoms, or have done in the last two weeks, or if anyone close to you has.
- Have travelled abroad or to any location that has been hit badly by the virus in the last two weeks.
- Are concerned in any way that you may have the virus or, have come into contact with someone that has tested positive in the last two weeks.
